Pinotage 2019
- Matured in 100% older small French oak
- Picked from vineyards in Franschoek and Wellington
Like the Chardonnay the old oak takes over a bit with more of the spicy and peppery notes coming through. There is still red fruit and blueberries on the palate but not as pronounced as some Pinotage styles. It's a dinner wine, something warming and great to share with someone who has not yet experienced Pinotage. Really smooth.
