A favourite stop on the Franschoek wine tram and some of the most well kept vineyards I have seen.
Great restaurant, great wines and even luxury accomodation. A cracking representation of South African hospitality.
Picked from extremely low yielding vines and matured in mainly second fill barrels and concrete egg (completely serious yes - concrete egg!), it can be described as a svelte Chardonnay. Not as big and punchy as those milky Californians, but toasty and tasty with a lemon and lime finish.
