DMZ Chenin Blanc 2019
DeMorgenzon Wines is situated to the west of Stellenbosch on the slopes of Ribbokkop. Demorgenzon have received more recognition for their white wines. This wine received a 4 star John Platter Award as well as 91 points from Tim Atkin.
This is a less dry white - so lower on the residual sugar level but with hints of honey, peach and apricot this wine will be quite deceiving. Minimal skin contact and fermentation in a combination of steel and French oak allows the fruit to really stand out.
DeMorgenzon Wines say that they play classical music in the vineyards and in the cellar everyday all day. I guess we'll just have to go check!
